Pricing Policy
- Quotes in most cases are accurate, however, no pricing is final until the yard is fully inspected on the first visit. We will communicate with you if there is any price change before starting services.
- Customers who choose to pause services for any reason may be subject to initial cleaning fees before being added to the monthly service again.
Payment Policy
- Payments for initial or one-time cleanups are due upon completion of the job.
- If you move forward with monthly service after an initial cleanup you will also be billed for the remainder of the month.
- Payments for reoccurring services are due on the first day of each month prior to receiving services.
- If payments are late you will be subject to a $10 late fee.
- If payment is not received before the first cleaning of the month you will be removed from the service schedule.
- The monthly fee is based on a 52-week calendar and averaged out over 12 months. For months with 5 weeks instead of 4, you will not be charged for the extra visit as it is built into the monthly pricing.
- When first linking a debit or credit card to your online portal a test transaction for $1.50 will occur. No money is actually taken out of your account.
Inclement Weather Policy
- Scoop Guys DFW operates 12 months a year and will always show up when weather conditions are safe regardless of rain, snow, or other unfavorable weather conditions.
- If we are unable to provide service for one week due to unsafe conditions we will perform double duty the following week and you will still be charged for the full month. This is because there is just as much pet waste and time spent on each yard.
- In cases of snowfall, Scoop Guys DFW will not dig or search for pet waste beneath accumulated snow. Our team will, however, remove any waste that is visible on top of the snow. Once the snow melts, all remaining pet waste will be collected during the next scheduled visit, ensuring a clean and thorough service as conditions allow.
No Access Policy
- If Scoop Guys DFW is unable to gain access to your yard because the gate has been locked you will still be charged for the cleaning, however, Scoop Guys DFW will pull double duty the following week.
- Your Scoop Technician will knock at the door and make attempts to call you before skipping your yard that day. You will be notified via the customer portal as well.
Dangerous Pet Policy
- Scoop Guys DFW loves working with dogs! Our technicians have no issue working with your dog in the yard.
- If it is evident that your dog is aggressive, or will not let us clean the yard we will make attempts to contact you by knocking on the door, calling, and updating your online portal. If we are unable to clean due to a dangerous dog you will still be charged for the visit and Scoop Guys DFW will pull double duty the following week.
Unkempt Yard Policy
To provide thorough and effective service, yards must be reasonably maintained and accessible. Scoop Guys DFW can only remove pet waste that is visible and safely reachable by our technicians. Excessive grass height, large piles of leaves, overgrown bushes, or heavy debris can obstruct waste and make it difficult—or impossible—to locate and remove all droppings.
Please note the following:
- Tall grass, thick leaves, and yard debris may result in missed waste during service. Our technicians will do their best, but we can only scoop what we can see.
- During fall and early winter, pet waste may become hidden under heavy leaf coverage. This season is often referred to as “poop camouflage season,” and we ask for your cooperation in keeping the yard as clear as possible.
- We do not trim grass, rake leaves, or remove yard debris as part of our service.
- If conditions prevent us from performing a reasonable cleanup, you will still be charged for the visit, and we will note the issue in your customer portal.
By keeping your yard clear and maintained, you help us deliver the high-quality, reliable service you expect from Scoop Guys DFW.
Liability Disclaimer
Scoop Guys DFW is not liable for any damage to property, pets, or persons unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct by our team. We take all reasonable precautions during service but are not responsible for pre-existing yard conditions or incidents beyond our control.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring yard access, keeping gates unlocked and free of snow or ice, securing aggressive pets, and maintaining a reasonably clean yard free of excessive leaves or debris.
Service Scope / Limitations
Scoop Guys DFW only removes pet waste as part of our regular service. We do not remove trash, yard debris, or animal carcasses, and we reserve the right to skip service if hazardous materials are present in the yard.
Photo Documentation
Scoop Guys DFW may take time-stamped photos to document access issues, safety concerns, or service completion. These photos are used for internal records and customer communication only.
Refund and Cancelation Policy
- Scoop Guys DFW has no contracts and customers can cancel services at any time for any reason with 48-hour notice. Customers can call in to cancel, or update their subscription plan through the customer portal.
- Customers that pause services for certain times of the year will be subject to initial cleanup fees, or spring cleanup fees when they return to their monthly subscription.
- If a customer cancels services halfway through the month they will be refunded for services that have occurred. The refund will be processed to the payment method on file in the customer portal.
- Refunds are issued only for services not rendered. Dissatisfaction with a completed service must be reported within 24 hours for review. Missed or skipped services due to weather, locked gates, or aggressive dogs are not eligible for refund, as they are addressed by double-duty cleanup on the following visit.
